The JBL 3 Cubic Ft. Backbox is purpose-built for the Control 300 Series 12" ceiling drivers, delivering superior acoustic control and low-frequency response in even the most demanding installed sound environments.
Crafted from heavy-duty 16-gauge metal, this enclosure features an internal lining of 12 mm (½ inch) MDF to reduce unwanted resonance and enhance bass performance—ensuring your system sounds as powerful and clean as it looks.
With knockouts on all four sides and the top, plus a dual mounting system for baffles, installation is streamlined and flexible. It also includes a mounting platform for an optional high-power 70V/100V transformer, making it ideal for distributed audio setups in commercial or large-format venues.
