HIRE – KV2 Concert Rig (VHD5.0 / SL412 / KV28.10) (Melbourne)

Large‑format KV2 power for serious shows. Our KV2 Concert Rig combines VHD5.0 mid‑hi modules, SL412 3‑way loudspeakers and KV28.10 low‑mid modules into a high‑definition FOH system for festivals, arenas and premium outdoor/indoor events.

Per side configuration:

  • 3 × KV28.10 low‑mid modules

  • 1 × KV2 SL412 slimline 3‑way loudspeaker

  • 1 × KV2 VHD5.0 mid‑hi module

(That’s 6 × KV28.10, 2 × SL412 and 2 × VHD5.0 for a standard stereo L/R rig.)

Long‑throw mid/high clarity and vocal intelligibility

Why This System

  • Serious output & throw: Designed for large rooms, tents and outdoor audience areas

  • High‑definition sound: KV2’s VHD/SL systems are known for clarity and musicality

  • Coherent coverage: Low‑mid, 3‑way and mid‑hi sections voiced to work together

  • Scalable: Can be paired with KV2 subs, outfills, front‑fills and delays for full site coverage

This is the rig you book when you need headline‑ready FOH that looks and sounds like a proper concert system.

Ideal For

  • Outdoor festivals & concert series

  • Large‑format corporate shows & product launches

  • Arena events, touring productions & showcase gigs

  • High‑end community events, New Year’s, street parties & council activations

System Design & Configuration

Every KV2 Concert Rig deployment is designed to suit your event. We’ll look at:

  • Audience size and site map

  • Stage position and trim heights

  • Noise limits and neighbours

  • Weather/wind considerations and safety

From there we’ll specify:

  • Exact stacking or flying configuration per side

  • Subwoofer count and placement (KV2 subs or equivalent)

  • Front‑fills, outfills and delay towers as needed

  • Required power, cabling, consoles and monitoring

Popular Add‑Ons

  • Subwoofers: Matching KV2 subs for full‑band and EDM‑ready low‑end

  • Front‑fills & delays: Smaller boxes to cover nearfield and farfield areas

  • Monitors / IEM support: Wedges, side‑fills and in‑ear systems

  • Mixing consoles: Digital FOH & monitor desks with stageboxes

  • Wireless mics & backline: Vocal sets, instrument wireless, drum kits, amps

  • Lighting & vision: Stage wash, effects, LED walls and cameras

Hire Options & Pricing

Because this is a large‑format, engineered system, pricing depends on:

  • Venue / site, dates and access

  • Required coverage area and SPL

  • Crew hours, rehearsal days and show schedule

  • Additional gear (consoles, monitors, wireless, lighting, staging)

Tell us your date(s), venue/suburb, event type, expected crowd size and any production rider you’re working to, and we’ll build a detailed quote.
